I am a registered naturopathic health coach, supporting menopausal and post menopausal women.

Hi and welcome! I’m Julia, a qualified nutrition and lifestyle health coach and founder of The Nourish.

I build personalised routines around food, movement and lifestyle habits for women in midlife who want a joined-up, sustainable approach to their health. Not quick fixes.

I came to health coaching through lived experience. After years in a demanding career and raising a family, I realised that I had lost my sense of direction with my health. My energy had dropped, resilience thinned, my blood pressure and cholesterol levels rose. I was functioning but not feeling well.

I knew there had to be another way.

As I began to explore evidence-based whole food nutrition and lifestyle approaches, something important shifted. Small, consistent changes — tailored to me as a person — had a profound effect on how I felt and how I functioned. My blood pressure and hormone levels stabilised, energy and clarity came back and my confidence grew. And crucially, it felt sustainable.

That experience reshaped how I thought about health.

I retrained as a health coach at London’s College of Naturopathic Medicine, because I wanted to support women — particularly in midlife — to move beyond guesswork, overwhelm, and all-or-nothing thinking. To help them understand their body, their physiology, and what genuinely supports them over time.

Today, my work is about bridging the gap between intention and action. I help women create realistic, evidence-led habits that fit real lives — so health becomes something you build, refine, and carry forward, not something you constantly chase.

My practice is based in Petworth, West Sussex, with sessions offered both in-person and online.

My Approach

My approach is holistic. The 5 Pillars of Health – Nutrition, Sleep, Movement, Hydration, Lifestyle – is the framework for understanding and improving our health and wellbeing naturally and are the cornerstones of my coaching practice.

These 5 essential elements need to work together for us to feel well, happy, energised and confident. If one of them is unbalanced, for example, poor quality sleep, it can have a knock-on effect on our energy levels, our motivation, our weight, our mood, our cravings, our ability to make healthy choices and decisions during the day.

My one-to-one coaching gives you an understanding of how food, hydration, blood sugar balance, daily movement, healthy sleep and managing stress shape the way your body feels and functions. All our conversations are confidential and non-judgemental and my approach is rooted in empowerment, education and empathy.

Together we explore your health goals and challenges and create a personalised, evidence-based, step-by-step programme that is trackable and right for you. I walk alongside you on your journey, with regular check-ins to celebrate your progress.

My Programmes

I provide 6 week and a 12 week 1:1 tailored Better Habits Better Life Programmes. Both of these coaching plans are rooted in evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle behaviour change. They are carefully structured to give you the time and support to build steady momentum and create meaningful, lasting change.

Top-up Programme

90 minute Better Habits Better Life sessions are available for current clients already on the wellness programmes and who want a bit of extra accountability.  Or those who want an ad hoc top-up,  having completed a Better Habits Better Life programme.
